Pacific Grove calls itself  "Butterfly Town USA" to celebrate the annual migration of monarchs each winter. Pacific Grove is perfectly sited at the tip of Monterey Peninsula, next to Monterey. Locals call Pacific Grove "PG" for short. Not too fancy, Pacific Grove is quiet and relaxed with just about everything near the magnificent coast.
